I thrive in the complexity that comes with expanding into and navigating new markets and opportunities.
I am a board-level financial services executive, entrepreneur, and intrapreneur with more than a decade of experience building and scaling technology-enabled businesses across West and Central Africa, the UK, the UAE, and North America. Known for my ability to navigate complex markets, I bring a rare combination of institutional financial services depth and entrepreneurial boldness to every mandate I take on.
I enjoy leading high-performing business teams across multiple jurisdictions to build revenue engines from zero.
Born and based in Lagos, Nigeria, my career is defined by a single consistent thread: I build things that did not exist before. I enter markets, construct commercial infrastructure, activate institutional relationships, and deliver growth that those around me often describe as extraordinary.
My institutional career spans some of Africa's most iconic technology and payments businesses.
At Interswitch Group, Africa's leading digital payments and commerce unicorn, I led the Corporate Eco-Systems division, driving enterprise adoption of Payment-as-a-Service, Banking-as-a-Service, and API Marketplace solutions across Nigeria's largest corporate and institutional clients. I grew the division's revenues by 500% within six months — one of the fastest growth records in the company's history.
At Nomba, backed by Shopify, Y Combinator, and Base10 Partners, I served as Country Head of Credit Business, Sales and Partnerships, growing the credit book by 700% in eight months using data-driven merchant financing models, and scaling merchant acquisition to a $1BN transaction count milestone within 16 months.
At Cellulant, one of Africa's foremost digital payments platforms, processing 4.5 million transactions daily across 35 countries, I led as Country Manager in Nigeria, building a national agent network, activating banking partnerships, and leading field operations across multiple geopolitical zones.
